Prospective Parents

Family Partnerships

We value family partnerships so highly at Little Nest. You, as parents and carers, are your child’s first educators and therefore we work as a team with your family to achieve the best outcomes for your child.
We offer lots of opportunities for you to visit Little Nest and experience what nursery life is like for your child:
-Stay and Plays
-Breakfast Mornings
-Celebration Days

Communication

Communication is key to the successful running of Little Nest, helping families feel informed of their child's day and development. We communicate with you in many ways:

-Daily Handovers

-Termly Reports

-Observations

-Parent Meetings

-Famly App

-Phone calls

-Emails

Settling in...

Each child at Little Nest is assigned a key person. Your key person will be responsible for tailoring your child’s learning to their developmental needs and interests. They will complete your child’s termly reports and parents meetings. They will set out to develop a strong relationship with both yourselves and your child. However, as we are a small and unique setting, every child will get to know every member of staff fantastically well meaning no upset children if their key person is absent!

Before your child’s start date, we will arrange settling in visits at a mutually convenient time. These will include a home visit and a minimum of two settling in sessions.
